Roger Karber - Chairman

Mr. Karber’s career is defined by a life long entrepreneurial devotion to excellence. Real estate development and management are in his blood. His ability to create value for everyone who touches our communities and properties is exemplary. Mr. Karber has extensive knowledge of financial and operational practices needed to achieve optimal benefits for all constituents, from customers to investors, lenders, neighbors, contractors, government, our staff, and more. Balance, creativity and risk management are paramount in our attempts to create more value with less resources.

Scott Rathbun - President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Rathbun brings extensive experience in real estate investment and asset management to the Aerie Development team. With more than 30 years in the real estate industry, Mr. Rathbun has directed the operations of commercial real estate portfolios, overseeing assets throughout their complete life cycle. He also offers specific expertise in the areas of operational performance, construction methodology, project coordination, design management, budgeting, quality control, and cost effectiveness.

Erin Leed - Vice President of Finance

Erin Leed has been taking Aerie's rental properties through the full-cycle development process since 2012. She has directed site identification, due diligence, appraisal, product design, construction, lease-up/stabilization, permanent loan funding and eventual sale of over 1,300 units valued at $215,000,000. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Erin received her CCIM designation in 2018.

Tom Rathbun - Development Project Manager

Tom Rathbun brings years of experience in organizational management to the Aerie Development team. He is a combat veteran having served six years in the U.S. Navy as an FMF Corpsman. He is highly process oriented and his methodology brings order to the often chaotic world of real estate development. As a Development Project Manager, he is an integral part of site acquisition, due diligence, site design, and construction.
