Construction began in October 2013 on San Marcos I, after rezoning two prime retail hard corners in Chandler, Arizona, at the northeast and northwest corners of Alma School and Pecos Roads, just a block north of the 202 Freeway. Avilla San Marcos I began construction of 112 units in October 2013 and completed in October 2014. Avilla San Marcos II began construction of 145 units in December 2013 and completed in April 2015.
